Apply for TNR Services

To qualify:

If you have stray or feral cats in Montcalm County, Michigan that you are feeding, you are playing a huge role in their life! To help even further, getting them spayed/neutered will help keep the population down and reduce your feeding costs.

Since we are a small all-volunteer group and operate on donated funds, our TNR services are designed to fill in the gaps to what our community can provide, so that we can help as many people and cats as possible. This is truly a community effort!

What we do:

  • We will make the spay/neuter appointment;
  • We will trap or assist you with trapping your feral/stray cats;
  • We will transport trapped feral/stray cats to the clinic for spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, and ear tip;
  • We will pick up feral/stray cats after spay/neuter and hold and care for them for 24-48 hours for recovery;
  • We will return recovered feral/stray cats back to your property and release them. Note: this is a requirement for the low cost spay/neuter services that we utilize and is non-negotiable.

What we need from you:

  • Donations. It costs approximately $60 for the spay/neuter surgery per feral/stray cat, gas to and from the clinic on surgery day, gas to and from the clinic to pick up after surgery, and food on recovery days.
  • Volunteer your time. We need people to help with trapping, transporting, and looking after the feral cats during recovery.
  • Foster kittens. We will occasionally come across orphaned kittens that need care/bottle feeding until they are old enough to be adopted. Note: kittens will never be taken from their mother.  She is always the best choice to care for them - unless they are sick.
  • Advocate for Spay and Neuter. It takes one person to make a difference and help our community.

Due to overwhelming need, applications are CLOSED until further notice
